Odie had nothing growing up, not even a family. Her earliest memory was of her father saying goodbye to her before he left her on the steps of a church. She was fostered and then sent back, and fostered by someone different, but with the same results. When she was nine, she was fostered by a really nice family, so it seemed, they’d fostered a boy who was a little older than her, they were perfect, and everything was great. She thought, finally, this was it. But, while she was at school, the family went on vacation and just never returned. She spent almost a week living by herself, eating cold beans and moldy bread.
However, the things she grew up with made her who she is. She’s tough and can withstand almost anything. Odie was finally adopted, though, by the Tullie family, and they were good to her. They helped her get into a good university and helped support her, financially, until she graduated and got the job at Rose Point.
Her life wasn’t great and she thinks there’s parts of it still that could use improvement but she’s got her students and her boyfriend. She’s hopeful that she can convince him to move in with her. Maybe it’s not great, but it’s definitely so much better than it was when she was younger.
