Remy has always had a flair for the dramatics and not exactly fitting where everyone thinks she’s supposed to go. She’s a pretty, smart and a little freaky cheerleader. Her whole life she’s been the odd one out. While all of her friends' parents were lawyers or accountants, she lived with two great aunts who were...twice as odd as she could ever aspire to be. Her parents were always out in the field, both archaeologists, digging up ancient bones or discovering a piece of history. Her aunts took her in and, well, to say that their eccentricities didn’t bring out the girl’s own, that would be a lie.
When she told her aunts what she wanted to study, they were convinced that she was lying. Yes, her parents were archaeologists, but she actively chose to study dead bodies. Nevertheless, the aunts agreed and scraped together what they could to send her to Rose Point Academy’s sister school.
She’s well aware of the hauntings that go on. Perhaps that’s what encouraged her to study anthropology, to give a voice to those who didn’t have one. Just after death. Meanwhile, she’s conducting seances in her dorm room at night and attending cheer practice in the evening.
