Tawny was adopted by a couple when she was eight. Though she was a troubled child, they always made sure she knew she was loved unconditionally and never had to battle her demons alone. Her teens years were the hardest as she isolated herself and rebelled, but she managed to pull herself together before her senior year. She discovered a yearning to learn psychology due to her own past trauma and experience with therapy. She has a strong desire to help children who suffered as she did and you can see her passion in almost everything she does.
